BUILDING SCIENCE SYMPOSIUM Series

In 2020 we offered the first Midwest Building Science Symposium at Boulevard Brewery in Kansas City, Missouri. This was a single day event featuring Steve Baczek and Jake Bruton teaching building science fundamentals and introducing next steps to elevate building performance. The next year we brought Jake and Steve back for a “second annual” event complete with sold out crowd, barbecue and beer but with two days of all new content including presentations from Mike Guertin, Peter Yost, Randy Williams and Ben Bogie. 

This prompted us to expand the event further to share Building Science education and engage other BS* and Beer communities so in 2022 we added Chattanooga, Austin and DC along with speakers Allison Bailes, Emily Mottram, Enrico Bonilauri and Glenn Mathewson. Each year we offer a new Building Science Symposium series of events in 4-6 different regions to bring the two full days of education and community engagement to new audiences.
